Create
Split makes metric creation easy. First, navigate to your metrics and click Create Metric. This prompts you to create a new metric.
When creating a metric, you can easily specify information for your new metric, including name, owners, tags, and description. This information can help you and your team manage your metrics.
A. Name your metric
Give your metric an easily recognizable name.
B. Add owners
Add one or more owners to your metric. Use owners to isolate metrics in the browse panes to those owned by me and simplify permissions by providing owner edit rights for a single segment across all environments by toggling permissions on. When toggled on, permissions inherit owners as editors.
C. Add tags
Add one or more tags to help you categorize the metric. You can use tags to isolate to a particular team or feature release. Create tags like reporting team, growth team, or reporting release.
D. Describe your metric
Provide a description of the metric. This helps your team members understand the metric's purpose and meaning.
E. Define your metric
Quickly define your metric. Learn more about the metric definition.
F. Create your metric
When all of the details are in place, click Create and you are taken to your new metric.
