Hi Abindukalpa, looking at your Split, the treatments are coming from "default rule", which is usually what the impression should have. I tested using the same .net core 3.5.0 on my org and I do see "default rule"

Is it ok for me to test getTreatment against your Split in Dev environment?

    Thanks

Hello.  There might be an answer here: https://docs.split.io/docs/utilizing-split-impression-data#section-the-targeting-rule-label.

In particular, "If your impression tables are showing "not available", consider upgrading your SDK and ensure that labels are enabled in the SDK configurations."

If that doesn't address the issue please let us know.

Hi Abindukalpa, based on Dave's message above, if your code disabled the rule labels, by setting parameter "LabelsEnabled" to false, the impressions will always shows "not available", check out this link for more info: https://docs.split.io/docs/net-sdk-overview#section-configuration

The default value of LabelsEnabled parameter is true.

    Thanks

    Hi Bilal and Dave,

I have set the labelsenabled parameter to true. I am on the latest .net SDK 3.5.0

The targetting rules still come back as not available.

If it helps, please go ahead and test against the split in dev environment.

And I am not sure if its getting the default rule everytime. The behaviour of the split seems pretty sporadic.

I just tested getTreatment and I do see the impression show up with "default rule" since the attribute value did not match.

I also see an impression from your side matching the targeting rule show up correctly.

Could you send another impression that does not use attribute? let's see if it shows "default rule" in the label.

    Thanks

I do not see the data being refreshed on live impressions.

Hi Abindukalpa, I see last impression date is 03/12/2019 04:45:26AM, did you post more impressions after that time? Looks like "on" and "off" treatments both show the rule name.

    Thanks

    Hi Bilal,

yes they seem to be working as expected now. Any reason to why it wasnt working yesterday? Issues in the SDK?

  • Bilal Al-Shahwany

Its hard to know without looking at debug logs from SDK side, keep an eye on it and let us know if you see the same issue in the future.

    Thanks

    Bilal
