    Hi Gabriel,

Yes, you can use "In Segment" matcher for the rule, see screenshot.

    Thanks

    Oh, I meant.

Is there a way to create segment and use rules like.

Any users with a name starting with a is in this segment. All I see is an option to add users. Since you showed I can reuse segments, I'm trying to figure out definition.

Hi Gabriel, The segment definition do not have rules, the Split targeting rules are very flexible and cover lot of scenarios, for example, you can pass the user key as a custom attribute, then apply any string matching rule needed, see attached screen as an example.

    Thanks

Hi Gabriel, you can update segment values using the API, if you are a paid or trial customer.  In that instance you can update segments externally and update them in Split via the API.
